Chamberlin was taken to an Atlanta hospital and was given an angiogram which revealed a partially blocked artery. He rested at the hospital overnight and was released.
SMASHING PUMPKINS' latest album, "Zeitgeist", has just been re-released and packaged with a full-length DVD documentary titled "Inside the Zeitgeist". The disc also contains three bonus tracks, including a previously unreleased song called "Ma Belle". The other songs included are "Stellar" and "Death from Above". This special version of "Zeitgeist" features an all-new metallic silver color scheme as well.
The "Zeitgeist" re-release is sold exclusively at Best Buy stores.
SMASHING PUMPKINS recently took part in an interview and live performance for the AOL Sessions. Watch it at this location.
Corgan and Chamberlin are the only original PUMPKINS members in this lineup, which introduces new guitarist Jeff Schroeder, bassist Ginger Reyes and keyboardist Lisa Harriton. None of them played on the album, however.
The latest single from the CD is called "That's the Way (My Love Is)".
